Hi, I'm Aidan Han, a 17-year-old student at Ridgewood High School in New Jersey. I launched Code Unlocked to make coding education more accessible to under-resourced communities. A lot of younger students in those communities are interested in coding, but they don’t have the necessary guidance or curriculum to follow. My goal is not only to teach coding, but to help students build problem-solving skills by learning how to break large problems into smaller steps, test ideas, and not be afraid of trial and error. Moreover, I aim to improve their communication skills as I work with them on various coding projects. Learning to code will improve students’ logical reasoning as they face and solve challenges.
